Industrial boiler servicing

Our industrial boiler servicing includes preparation for annual insurance inspection and covers:

Stripping boiler valves
Opening smoke and mud doors for internal inspection
Rodding of boiler tubes
Scale removal from water side
Furnace sweep
Replacing ceramic ropes and tapes upon insurance acceptance
Rebuilding of the boiler.

Overhaul and certification of boiler valves (for steam and water)

This boiler servicing option includes:

Stripping of valves
Shot blasting
Lapping of head and seat
Machining of valve head and faces, if required
Supplying and installing maintenance kits/parts
Rebuilding and testing to required pressure
Painting and ID tagging.

Re-calibration/overhaul and certification of safety valves (for steam, water, gas, refrigeration, ammonia, etc.)

Industrial steam boiler 5-year Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

This service includes:

Removal of patches and lagging in accordance with safety guidelines
Preparation of welds for testing
Removal and refitting of furnace refractory
Rebuilding/replacing on insurance acceptance.

Steam trap testing and reporting

Our engineers are experienced at working on a diverse range of installations and are Spirax Sarco – City & Guilds trained to cover steam and condensate systems, steam boiler operations, steam plant maintenance and safety valve accreditation.
