MFL were recently contracted by Warden Engineering to provide the mechanical installation of a new steam pipework system on site for their project at a pharmaceutical company in North Devon, October–December 2020.
Our scope of works included the fabrication of steel pipe supports and installation of approx. 200m of steam main and condensate pipework services, to include Spirax Sarco valves and components to supply the required AHUs, Industrial Washing Machines and a Spirax Sarco Plate Heat Exchanger package, all located on a mezzanine plant deck.
This was a complex installation due to the mezzanine plant deck being occupied by numerous mechanical and electrical services which severely restricted our steam pipework routes, coupled with a tight deadline, but despite these challenges the project was completed on time and within budget.
