Scope of Works
MFL Mechanical were appointed by food industry construction specialists, DDK Projects, to be the lead mechanical contractor for their project in Worksop (Nottinghamshire).
This construction project consisted of the full fit-out of an existing logistics shed to create a new state-of-the-art facility for a market leading pet food manufacturer, complete with chilled storage for produce, a fully automated packaging conveyor system and upgraded staff amenities and canteen area.
Our mechanical scope of works included the design and installation of the following services:
- Domestic Plumbing
- Above Ground Drainage
- HVAC
- Compressed Air System
- Heat Recovery from Refrigeration Plant
This project had its challenges, but we were delighted with the final results. It was a pleasure to be involved with from start to finish, and we look forward to working alongside DDK Projects on another food industry construction scheme in the near future.
